After all, you are dressed up in a Halloween costume so nobody knows that it is really you! Does it get any better than that? I don’t think so.
Halloween has been around for a long, long time. It dates back to an ancient Celtic festival. Over the years it has transformed into the current holiday. Halloween is much more popular in the United States of America than in other parts of the world although it is becoming more popular every day.
Halloween has been written about in many books and countless movies have been made including the cinematic classic Halloween movie series.
Many teens like the idea of being a zombie for Halloween. That is a costume that doesn’t appear childish because of it’s creepy and scary nature. Most young children would be terrified by a zombie costume whereas a teen would see it as funny, cool and very different from what the “little kids” wear. Plus, most teens are fascinated with the idea of voodoo and witch doctors so a zombie costume matches their interests.

Another popular teen costume comes from the Alice in Wonderland 2010 movie. For girls there is the always popular Alice character and for boys the Mad Hatter is a great character to dress as. Alice in Wonderland is about fantasy and Halloween is about bringing fantasy to real life so they make a great match!
Finding the Right Costumes for Teens
The first thing you should consider is the personality of the person that you are finding a costume for. An introverted person might feel comfortable as an outgoing character when they are in costume, but then again they may not. Sometimes the fact that they are in costume can get them to lower their inhibitions. And the opposite may be true of an extroverted person. They may feel completely out of place if their costume is too laid back. Or they may enjoy the change of pace that the laid back costume allows them to assume.
If the person is very outgoing and wants a costume that matches their outgoing nature, then a costume like the Mad Hatter costume could be something they would be very comfortable wearing. The fun loving, maniacal nature of the Mad Hatter character would be a natural fit for this person. The ability to say or do anything might enhance the fun they have while wearing the costume.
